Summer Writing Workshops

This summer, we’re offering three week-long workshops that can be attended during your lunch hour, or watched hours later in the privacy of your own writing space.

See details below.

July 21-25: Breaking through Writer’s Block

We’ve all been there. You want to write, you have time to write, you’re sitting at your desk to write, and… nothing. This class presents unique strategies for busting through writer’s block and putting pen to paper. It is based on our course Pre-Writing Strategies for Blocked, Stuck or Otherwise Frustrated Writers, so you can take it right now if just can’t wait til July.

When? July 21-25 at 12 p.m. eastern.
Where? Online
How much? $29 per person.
Sign up: This event is hosted on Eventbrite. You can sign up here.

July 28-August 1: Fictionalizing Your Stories

We all have stories that we don’t want to – or probably shouldn’t – write as ourselves. In this class, we discuss how to use these stories as seeds from which we will germinate pieces of fiction. Note: You will probably not have a strong piece of fiction at the end of the week, but you will be well on your way.

When? July 28-August 1 at 12 p.m. eastern.
Where? Online
How much? $29 per person.
Sign up: This event is hosted on Eventbrite. You can sign up here.

Sorry you missed it!

If you missed the June memoir class, you missed a good one. Not to worry – it will be held again this fall. Please sign up for our newsletter to be notified.
